Founder & Managing Director

Abdul Bello is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Trade Connect (GTC), an agricultural export company focused on connecting trusted African producers with buyers across the United States and global markets. GTC specializes in export-ready agricultural products including dried hibiscus leaves, fresh and dried ginger, fresh and dried garlic, and shea butter—supported by quality control, regulatory compliance, and reliable international logistics.

Before entering international trade, Abdul built a successful career as a former American football player. Born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, he rose through the U.S. collegiate football system and played as an offensive lineman at Florida State University, where he earned recognition for his discipline, teamwork, and leadership on the field. His journey from Nigeria to NCAA football reflects resilience, adaptability, and a strong performance-driven mindset.

Abdul brings the same focus and commitment from his athletic career into business—prioritizing consistency, transparency, and long-term partnerships. Through GTC, he works closely with producers, laboratories, and regulatory bodies to ensure products meet international food, cosmetic, and industrial standards while creating sustainable trade opportunities across borders.
